I bought this metal cabinet from a carboot sale today. It's well made & has 2 adjustable shelves.
The lock barrel is missing though & I could do with replacing it. There's no makers marks on the box & I'm unsure what to search for

The lock body hole is 15mm dia & the inside of the bezel is 19.5mm
The rectangular hole for the plate that operates the vertical link rods is 10 x 15mm
I've searched for cam locks & cabinet locks but have had no luck up to now

Any suggestions for UK suppliers please?

In the UK huh. Well I don’t know. Over here we have McMaster. What you got over there, SirMaster?

That’s a very common size but I haven’t a clue who you would contact.

Here in the states I would just remove it and take it to a hardware or home improvement store. As for the UK I would assume the same thing but I don’t know for sure. Maybe an industrial supply store of some sort

Thanks. Here where I am in North Wales there arent many suppliers I can visit. Ive seen some cabinet handles on ebay that are quite cheap at £7 so Ill give them a go, even if they will need some slight modifications
Plan I have is to remove the bar & have the crosshead bolt going through the recatangular hole in the linkage plate, possibly using a nut thats the correct dimension across the flats
