Locking Grease Gun Couplers

Seen several different kinds of these at local implement dealers recently.
Anybody use one? How well do they work?
Seen a couple different styles...the Lock N Lube, with a small lever, and another style with a sliding sleeve.

I've seen them at my local dealer as well. Playing around with them, I think they would work well. But it seems you would need plenty of room for the Lock N Lube. I know there are some grease fittings on our combine that they simply wouldn't fit.

They work great for some fittings and are a giant pain on others. I have the locking on my cordless and normal couplers on the hand guns.

I love the idea, but it's simply not cost effective imho. Lock-n-lube is too big with the lever to fit half the places we need to grease. The sliding style looks great but has no rebuild option...so when it fails you have to shell out another $40. Not worth it when a normal coupler is under $6 and cam be rebuilt if needed for less than half.

We sell them where I work. I've heard customers love the lock n lube as long as it fits. As for me and the other techs in the shop and on the road, nope. Wouldn't waste the time or money. Wouldn't fit in several places. In fact, I think the only machine it would fit on everything is the larger excavators. And even then, the track adjusters would be tight...
