I just bought a set of locking impact extensions to replace my regular impact extension. Are they that much better? I rather sell then unused if they aren't that great. Advice?

I like the long one...I did buy a set..my spark plug set came with a short one before these came out so I had an idea of using a long one for putting one a piece with out hitting the painted frame on some bikes...works great..all depends on what your doing with them I guess..

I'm a occasional mechanic and I just want to keep a small set of tools. Right now I have Snap On wobble plus, standard impact extensions and locking impact extensions. Just trying to keep what I need only.

I always use a locking or pin style extension with a swivel socket on an impact. Straight in with a regular socket where I can control it, I might use a non locking type extension. It is a safety issue with me and can save you a paint job or your teeth.

I prefer the locking for my longer extensions and for impact use it's a safety issue. Keep the locking set.

Sounds like a good plan

The locking style just helps not to lose the socket into the wild blue yonder.

Yes I know we have all had that happen before.

I like this idea. Impact swivels are one of my favorites.

I love the locking estensions. I have some but not in all sizes. I use regular, impact and locking. Just depends what I am working on.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out what I need. Right now I have wobble plus, impact, and locking impact. I'm trying to get rid of some excess tools and save some cash.
