Regular wobble or wobble plus?

I have teh Mac version of those without the wobble and love them. Both use the same lock ring mechanisms that rock. There are a few instances where the ring may be a littel too big for a recessed fastener but very very very few.

All in all a "you get what you pay for" tool no matter what all the HF, Sears, S-K , etc. folks say IMHO.

What kind of scenario does a locking wobble shine over a standard wobble? I love my standard locking extensions, but I can't see when I'd want to use a locking wobble. I feel like the ring would just get in the way.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen the regular locking extensions, and they're fine. I was just concerned that the locking wobble extensions might, in real world use, be a pain or not lock onto a socket adequately.

Anybody else out there have experience using the locking wobble variety?

As with allot of tools, at least in my experience, a locking wobble extension is not a necessity, but it'll make my repairs a little easier, faster, and save me a little grief. Changing my spark plugs for example; once a new spark plug is installed and I pull my extension off of it, my spark plug socket usually remains firmly attached to the plug. I'd like to avoid that.*

(*yes, I've considered using another spark plug socket, like a magnetic one, that might release more easily. I'm just exploring this avenue of approach before I make a decision either way.)
