Hey Guys, I have an opportunity to buy an L&S lathe. Looks to be around a 10" swing. 48" Bed. Looks to be in ok shape in the pics, but i haven't looked at it in person yet. This is supposidly a really old one 20's/30's. Single phase motor. Comes with extra chucks and some tooling.
What type of chuck attachment do these have? Threads or?

Looking for some help as to what to look for on the L&S machines, I've got a decent feel for our south bend 14.5 at work, but i'm not familiar with the L&S. I've heard they are decent machines. Not looking to hold .001, just something to further my learning on.

Thanks In Advance!

I've read lots of good things about them. Your challenge will be finding replacement parts for anything that's broken or worn out.
