Just curious about the exposed log ends; my understanding of 'traditional' log construction stressed that those really needed a generous eave to help prevent rot. Are your logs specially treated to help keep the moisture from promoting rot?
There is just something special in the aroma of a log building heated with a wood fire; enjoy your build and keep us posted!
