When I log in, my name and pw is accepted and it shows the welcome and "thank you for logging in" page. Then when I go to any of the boards, it looks as though I am not logged in. No name, nothing. Also, the "read" posts are incorrect. I also had a difficult time posting this due to the fact that the website does not think that I am logged in.

I have the same issue. I was able to work around it by going to my user php page, whatever that is. I hope someone figures this out for you (and me).
Are you checking the "remember me" box before you log on?

The classic fix is to try clearing cookies.
They always tell you to try that anyways.

As above but try logging out. Clear cookies on your computer then come back to the forum and log on again with the remember me box. I do that about once a week.

I have mac, but I believe windows has a similar feature, just called something else, but in "private browsing" mode it will do some things like you are talking about, because the whole point of it is so not remember things you typed in, like searches, passwords etc. (it's basically **** mode).
Maybe someone with windows can help out with it's name.
