Sooooooo........
A little about me; I have spent most of my life In a shop. Started young sweeping up machine shop shavings off the ground. Learned to machine, was taught the finer points of engine building. Then a few years later I took what I learned at the machine shop and became a Porsche/Audi Tech. Mastered that, Then learned to Fabricate at a premier hot rod shop. Too many bounced paychecks. Learned to Tune; became proficient used my skills to build race cars. Now I work a flat rate position at a Bosch service center and enjoy playing with others people's money on the side. And I mean A lot of it. This is a thread of the Cars in my lifetime Ive had a major hand in building or built single handily.
Now for pictures...

Let's start with....The Turbo Lotus Elise:

Very cool. Both these cars are very high on my "attainable" dream list.

More details please.

2005 Lotus Elise:
Built 2zz-GE, Old engine was originally supercharged and burnt an exhaust valve. So in came a freshly sleeved block with custom dished wiseco pistons, MWR Valvetrain, ARP goodies throughout, GTX2867R with a Custom TIAL Exhaust housing, The intercooler piping was done by Monkey Wrench which was terrible and I should have done myself, but time was a factor and that was an off the shelf solution. Lots of little custom touches such as the BOE Clamshell and Schroth interior goodies. He is also the owner of a beautiful RS America 964 which he tracks....when he feels his balls are big enough.

The 2002 is a Half done restoration that is driven on nice sunny days, sometimes tracked. Jacob's ignition, 2x40 Weber COnversion, a catch can from god nows where. Car is just fun, not the flashiest or even close to highest dollar build, but very fun and has a ton of character....expecially over speed bumps.
