I picked this up recently. Once my new ultrasonic machine arrives, this will be the first tool to take a dip and see how it works.

I'm wondering two things: is this a common item, and did Craftsman also offer a long version of the RHFT quick release thumbwheel design?

No Craftsman didn't offer the 1/2 drive round head fine tooth quick release ratchet in a 15 inch long version. They did offer the pear shaped 30 tooth quick release ratchet in a 15 inch long model though. KD, allen and Napa offered it though.

Interesting...with the hand on the end of that thing, you're pretty far away from the thumb wheel.

I like it, nice find!

Coolness. I knew that I hadn't seen one of these before, in either the Easco or C-man configurations. I like finding less common stuff.

Be careful when you clean up that ratchet I find that with the top cap the protective baked on paint comes off quite easy. Very nice find I have the same ratchet only smaller in length.

Nice! Harder still to find one with the ratchet mechanism un-fubared, as the temptation with the long handle is to treat it as a breaker bar.
