Check the Astro 93812 Nano long-handle ratchet.

3/8" drive in a 1/4" -sized head/body/handle that is 12 inch long. Only 72 tooth in the ratchet though.

Once you get past the visual of a 3/8" ratchet on a 1/4" sized head/body/handle, it's a decent tool.
Seems really low profile head, however in those tight spaces,i could grab may ratchet wrenches(Combination or DBE),why i need those low profile head ratchet handle+ sockets?

May i know why snap on made this ratchet head sealed wothout quick release button?Which will be a pain to pull out socket when hands are oily.

First, it’s “Snap” on for a reason. Most of the good pro ratchets don’t have quick releases. They get in the way and most of us have good hand strength or smart enough to have rags where we are working and at the tool box if it’s particularly oily.

Second, snap on does have a line of quick real ease ratchets for punters like you.

19 different 3/8 models and 15 different 1/2 models.

I hate QR ratchets….but I don’t have an articulable reason as to why.
I’ll hazard a guess: you think they’re for weak people and don’t have that image of yourself.

Suitcases with wheels are another example. Karl Ove Knausgård describes hating these unmanly things in one of his books.

No, I really don’t think that’s it at all. I never made a connection between a man’s ratchet choice and their manhood.

They just seem cheap to me…even though I know there is absolutely no merit to that belief. It’s an odd thing.

I dislike them because I forget about the QR and struggle with it before I remember. I no longer buy them if there's an option.

I have one ratchet that's quick release I occasionally use. Out of habit, I try to push the socket on and can't get it on. Then it hits me I have to hit the button first.

In my experience people who like QR, grew up with Craftsman ratchets. I much prefer non QR.

I have one QR as well. It just happens to be a Gearwrench 36" long 3/4" drive that gets used about???? I've used it once in the five years I've had it. That one time, I about threw it away with the 1-5/8" socket that was on the end of it because I couldn't get the socket off.

I use both types of ratchets. Honestly I hardly think about whether or not the ratchet is quick release or not. The big thing is that you don't drop the socket into loose dirt and lose the socket.

I personally am not a QR fan, I occasionally have a habit of putting my thumb on the back of the head when using it.
I have used QR'S that belong to co workers but they are just not for me. tool choices are a personal thing, we all have our preferences.
