long pry bars and breaker bars toolbox holder

i have a toolvault 56in toolbox at home. im looking to get something i can mount to the side of it to store all my longer pry bars and breaker bars.

has anyone done something like this or have any ideas?

That's more reasonable price wise. Looks like they have a black one as well that will match better with my blue box which is nice. Now the question is are those holes big enough for pry bars and breaker bars to fit it. They look rather small but iv never seen one in person.

The snap on one, although not cheap is well built out of thicker steel and much better paint. The sunex one will probably work but, you may have to modify the holes to fit 1/2 drive breaker bars and large pry bar blades. It is thinner steel, not as wide, and meant to hang off of their smaller two drawer carts. Hopefully, you have at least one threaded hole on the side of your tool box the you can attach the pry bar holder to in addition to it hanging on the lip of your box. It ***** when you pull out a pry bar and the whole holder moves with it
lastly, if you have a 56 inch box, isn't there a full width drawer to handle your long items?

yea the holes is what i was worried about. even if i could make the holes bigger is there enough meat there to enlarge them?

yes i have a full width drawer but its fall with sockets from end to end.

i could put them on the top self but i dont like doing that. i tend to put a bunch of **** ontop and it becomes a mess overtime on that self lol

The sunex is a screw driver holder most of the holes are smaller but the ones towards the middle are bigger and can hold breaker bars and it does hold my 24in pry bar. I can get measurements if you need them.

yea that would be great if you can list how wide the holes are and how many of side sizes of each.

How about a couple strong Magnets like welding Magnets from a surplus store, and just magnet the pry bar to the side of your tool chest?

24mm --> 17mm --> 4 that are 15mm the middle is 24mm then they go back up as they go to the right and the bottom row is the same way.
Hopefully that makes sense.

I believe its spot welded on but thats just a piano hinge so it would come apart easy enough and still be able to put it back together later.

I have this one on the side of my HF shop cart. I used a step drill bit to open up a few of the holes so the larger pry bars would fit. also so a breaker bar would fit. holds longer screw drivers and extensions. for the money ( about 25.00 ) I think it is a good deal.

Thanks! It's probably the best purchase I made all year. My long screwdrivers were all over the place. There were only 2 pry bars that didn't fit because the handles were too long. Overall I'm really happy with this setup and I'd highly recommend it.

No problem... I really wanted to use this as a screwdriver holder more than a pry bar holder. The price was right and I tucked it right in with my other Amazon purchases.

Just an update- I bought the sunex holder and need to drill out the holes to a bigger size to hold my breaker bars which ***** but easy enough tho. I also took the locking cover as I didn't need it. Just took out the pin in the hing. Just hate modifing new things lol

edit- retuning the holder. just going to move around some things in my box and save the cash for other tools im needing. if it would just bolted on and worked for my needs id would have kepted it.
