Currently have a set of Blue Point/ Williams reversible ratcheting wrenches but I would like something a bit longer like the Snap On but I don't care for the flank drive or the lack of larger sizes (bigger than 3/4). Armstrong is almost what I'd like but they also stop at 3/4 if you can find any. What's your suggestions?

I have a mix of Matco and Armstrong up to 1 inch. Pretty happy with them. I surely wish SK would make some ratcheting double-box wrenches in their new pattern.

Matco has some very nice Kabo made long pattern 90 tooth reversible wrenches.

However, do you really need long pattern reversible ratcheting wrenches?

The reason i ask that is there are a wide variety of the long and extra long zero offset ratcheting wrenches that would provide you with more than enough reach in fixed and flex head versions. Just a thought.....

Do you need the open end? Ask yourself that question first because longer ratcheting wrenches are easier to find when they're double box.

Yes I prefer an open end, I have the double box end set but the zero offset usually means that everything is in the way of the swing. Thus the search for longer ratcheting combo wrenches.

Matco ones seem good option, i seen 1" in extra long pattern in what I think was the series 9 reversible wrenches.

I got Matco brand from Ebay. Of course the older Matcos are the same as the Armstrong. Watch out for the Matco ones with the 9 near the start of the part number, they're imports.
