I'm looking for options for a long reach screwdriver set. My MIL always asks for a couple of Xmas present ideas and I thought this would be a good one. The only one I've found so far is SK:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PBBDE4/?tag=atomicindus08-20

There is a similar 4-piece set by CMan Pro but it isn't currently available according to the website.

Any other suggestions (up to $60 for 3 or 4 piece common sizes)?

Thanks in advance.

speaking of, I'll be buying the Wera Kraftform set soon, and I can't seem to find a set with their long screwdrivers..may have to buy one by one. Anyone know of a "master set"?

EDIT: found a long set....http://www.powertoolsdirect.com/wera-kraftform-long-series-screwdriver-set-4-piece-pz-ph-sl

OP, have you seen/handles the CMan Professional soft grip. If you like soft grip they are a lot of bang for the buck. I personally don't like hard handle, just my 2 pennies.

I would rate my SK drivers with my Snap on's in terms of quality. I absolutely love them. The tips are great. Dollar for dollar SK is tough to beat.

Yep, if you like hard handles, the SK's are going to be tough to beat. If you like a soft grip get the Craftsman Pro's (Same as the SK cushion grips) for less money.

Enjoy!

*I have the Craftsman Pro's and they're great!

I have had the long philips head in that set for about ten years now. Hands down my favorite screw driver ever. I assembled about a hundred computers with it and opened up who knows how many to repair. Perfect for not getting your hands sliced up on the cases.

I have some of those SK hard handles you posted, and I love them.
They are the first screwdriver I reach for, every time.

Craftsman pro long set has been good for me. I also got the wiha long multi bit screwdriver which is nice for putting any bit on it.

Those Proto's do look nice!

I have no issue with the "pry bar" style grip. Mainly looking for 16" PH & flat head. Which is why I was thinking about just buy two CM Pro's, but saw some reviews about the tips not being that good. Didn't know if it was mis-use or spotty bad metal..

I buy long shaft drivers when a good deal turns up, Mayhew Catspaw, SK, PB Swiss, a few cheap ones, but only thing I end up using is the Mayhew that has a flex and bit holder.
