Long & strong philips impact bits?

I picked up some long (like 7" or so) philips bits for my impact driver from Harbor Freight. I use the hell out of them. They are handy for getting a screw that's down deep in a recess where a normal bit extender is too fat to fit.

Anyway, I break the tips off sometimes. That's fine, it's to be expected, brutalizing them with an impact and all. Problem is, I only break the philips bits, and I have to buy a whole set to get another.

Does anybody sell long philips bits that are durable? Or even in multi-packs? Like 10 #2 philips bits? Anybody else use the long'ns?

If 6" is long enough? Stick with an impact bit if you aren't already doing so. I've had good luck with Bosch and Irwin bits. Fairly sure all 3 above are available in a 10 pack.

Don't bother with Irwin or Vermont American. Haven't had those brands hold up.
I'd be OK with Milwaukee or Bosch.

I have been using DeWalt, but make sure they say "Impact Ready". I'm not sure it they have anything longer than 6"

I've had good luck with the regular (2" and 3.5") ImpactX bits and (6") bit holder, these could work for you.

I agree, i have one of these over a year now, usually keep it on the impact driver, gotten to love the 6", hardly ever attempt to use anything besides this.

these usually have a yellow ring at some point in the bit.

Apex 492-C

This is an industrial bit.
It doesnt come in fancy packaging.
It doesnt look cute.
I have used and abused mine.
It takes everything i put it through and shows hardly any wear.
I have tried other brands.
This one excels in fitment and wear resistance.
