You guys seem to always pop up on my google searches so I thought why not join them. Bought a house 2yrs ago. Just now able to switch my focus on the garage. I got a 20x20 detached, one drive in bay other already converted to work shop. Currently in the process of installing a metal ceiling.

May I suggest you update your location to something more specific than 'Detached on side of house' as in future you may find that helps you when you have specific questions that affect you. Specially given the forum has a very global membership. Often you will find subjects may get different answers depending on locations and regulations.

As I remember, when you sign up, the question is, "Where is your Garage?" Perhaps the question should be changed...
