Cords and hoses can be a pain. So can changing batteries and batteries that don't keep a charge. I had a Makita that I replaced four batteries and a charger. The drill was still fine though. Replaced it with a new Milwaukee 18V. I use my cordless for small jobs where I can grab it quick or if i'm not near power. If I'm doing a lot of drilling or driving screws it's my Milwaukee magnum hole shooter. I don't intend to buy anymore cordless. I can see where they work much better for some with the type of work they do.
The both have there advantages and disadvantages. The battery technology needs a giant leap forward before I were to go all cordless.
