Looking at 2 Post Lifts GP-7 Alternatives

I had my choice narrowed down to the GP-7 mostly because it's got a small width footprint and I already have a MaxJax so I'm pretty happy with Bendpak.

I had a couple issues when I first installed my MaxJax, and they were super helpful so I'd like to stick with them... BUT. It looks like the price for the GP-7 went up by about 1000 bucks.

I was looking at it for $3275 and now it's over 4k for the same lift. Got a message into BP to see if I can get it for the 3k price, but I don't know.

Is there another lift with a similar width footprint to the GP-7 that I could get that has the same quality? It's going into a residential 3-car garage with high ceilings, but I only have about 134.5" wide, otherwise I'm impeding on the other doorway and wouldn't be able to drive the car into the bay that's next to the lift.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I did a similar search. I was very close to buying the GP7.

Rotary makes one that's pretty narrow, but I wanted something with a higher rise like the GP7.

I ended up buying an AMGO OGX-10H. It is right at 135 in narrow format. I am installing with the extra 6in width that takes it to 141. This is a tall version. They make a shorter one as well. There is a pretty good review on here from someone that has already installed one.

I bought from Brian at ASE.

I saw the AMGO lift, but couldn't find any reviews on it. I'll do another search and see if I can find it. Thanks man.

Hah so I got a call from Bendpak today and they were like... "Oh we didn't see any price difference on the site. It wasn't on our website."

So she asked me to give her the link (which I had given them in the email I sent) and she said, "Yeah there's no pricing information on that page."

So I said, "Oh well then you guys just took it down because I took a screen shot of it yesterday."

Silence....

"Well the best we could do would be to take $150 off."

Sigh....

Here's the screen shot BTW

Everyone has raised prices. Shipping containers are probably a good chunk of the price now.

Yeah I understand. I wasn't really expecting to get the price... I figured it was a mistake. I would have rather they just said, "Hey sorry that's old pricing."

Instead of pretending it wasn't there. But I don't know maybe it's a legal thing... have no idea.

At this point it looks like I'm going to have to just bite the bullet. I can't find another two-post that's got a width of less than or equal to 34.5 inches

Yeah, that's crappy of them to pretend it wasn't there. I watched the prices go up as I debated which lift to get and my hesitation cost me ~$600. Funny part was the mfg price wasn't adjusted but the dealers was, made it look like they were trying to charge more, but they did explain the situation and a few days later the mfg raised the price too.

I read the container prices are up from $3000 to $20000, I wonder how many lifts can git into a container.
