Looking at a Delta drill press model 17-968

Local machine recently listed. Unable to see it until January 6. Anyone have positive or negative comments on this? Asking price is $400.00.
It looks good in the photos.
I found the manual and parts list. Anyone have a link to the specs. It has the variable speed changes by mechanical system. I was thinking it may be electronic.

If anyone has one, I was wondering if this could be laid horizontally on moving blankets and secured for transport.

Manual. Based on the model number, that looks like a newer model (relatively speaking - circa 2005). Not sure about country of origin.

You could certainly lay it on its side but if it has an oil reservoir for the feed gear it might leak. No biggie. Just be gentle.
