I have a 26" 8 drawer craftsman quiet glide roll cart at work (machinist/maintenance) that I'm looking at replacing as my main cart. Its going on 5 yrs old, I've noticed lately that the loaded down drawers are getting sloppy. And, I'm out of room and would like to get more tools. Will probably take the wheels off and put it under my workbench.
So I've been looking at quite a few brands and Williams interests me. They're professional series 26" and 40" are identical to snap on heritage boxes.
Couple questions:
Can I add short drawers to the snap on heritage KRA2007FPBO/ Williams box? And will the lock still work?
Any boxes I should check out? cant go bigger then 36" wide and thats pushing it, we're pretty cramped at work. I've looked at kennedy(not much into the brown wrinkle paint), proto, homak, napa, blah blah. Ultimately I'd like something heavier duty with a little more room.
I have the menards 36" box at home, thought about taking it to work but drawers are kind of limited on it too. Its pre-punched so if they sell drawers I could add some but don't think the locks would work.
