I'm looking at picking up a blast cabinet and a parts washer. Want something that's going to last with heavy hobbyist use. Have two big projects coming up that will require a lot of use out of both. Looking a skat blast cabinet from tp tools but have no idea what to look for in a wash cabinet. What's everyone's opinion on both?

Thanks

Have had a large blast cabinet from TP Tools for 25 or so years, love it. For a parts washer, I picked up a used Snap On many years ago as well, been fine.

On the blast cab, a siphon gun will use a bunch of air so see if your compressor is up to it. A pressure pot will use less air, but it is more expensive up front. Check your options for dust collection as whatever you are blasting and your broken down abrasive will get into everything if it gets out of the cabinet. Consider using a good dust mask too.

I have a blast cabinet from TP Tools. No problems and replacement parts are just a click away. I did upgrade to ceramic nozzles.

Thanks for the replies on the cabinet. What's everyone like for parts washers, I haven't really started looking at those

I had a harbor freight parts washer for about 10 years in a commercial shop, but I just got a used hk150 parts washer and regret ever using the harbor freight one. The difference is amazing
