I have seen that one, however I am hoping to see a photo to make sure it is the right one. I am not sure if it is the door or rear hatch

Well, that came from a search of
"liftgate" parts. I find these type of sites are pretty helpful if you phone them to double check. Good luck.

nahudson,

did you ever get the right part. I currently have the same issue where the door will not open. Fuses are good and I could see the actuator not working when I had the panel off and observing it. I have the same exact view as in your original post. I figured I can change it out but I am having a hard time finding the part.

Thanks,

I could only find the whole assembly and it was I think around 100 bucks
I went to pull a part and got the whole assembly for like 6 bucks, but it did not work
My second door on the right side lock actuator went out as well and I pulled at pull a part also and that one did work.
The rear hatch lock has been a huge priority it has been broken for several years. I am just going to keep checking pull a part when I get to go and see if I can get lucky, we just leave it unlocked, but if we need to lock it we manually lock it.

Let me know if you find one for decent price, I had given up on really looking

Better off buying new instead of used. There are parts you don't buy used, will break again. Most yards have a no return policy on electrical parts, basically you buy it it's yours

How long ago could you have been done with this if you had just bought new?

That is why I have not done it $100 bucks is a lot of money for a lock and it really has not a big inconvience to us

You are not going to find just the actuator for that. You have to buy the whole latch. Been here and done that with many customer vehicles. Try Silver State Ford Parts. They have good prices, prompt shipping, and excellent customer service. I have sources parts from them for work and my own rigs.

I had to replace the assembly on my wifes 2001 Escape last year. The solenoid would stop working in hot weather. It was a big inconvenience for her and I expected a used part might have the same problem,. I found a new one on ebay for $100 with free shipping. Replacing the whole assembly took about 1/2 hour.

How is this related to tools?

may not be.
but if he's like me, i spend more time in this section than any of the rest, and know more people here than the other sections. If i needed help, i would not hesitate to ask here. But that's just me. Lot's of helpful folks here, and some......not so much.
