Looking for 3/8" 8-19mm Socket & Ratchet Set

I'm having trouble finding a specific socket set if it even exists. I would like a 3/8" drive set with deep & shallow metric sockets only ranging from 8-19mm in a case with ratchet. China or Taiwan preferred, I don't care about brand name. I would like the case to actually have pinned hinges & not the flexible plastic cause they never last long for me. And if just the shallow sockets are 12 point the better.

This set will be kept in my truck. I have a HF set but the damn thing skips sizes & it pisses me off sometimes. If it weren't for that it would have been perfect.

Gearwrench 80559 was almost perfect but it's missing 19mm for the deep socket.

So far my eye is on the Tekton 45pc set but I really don't need the SAE sockets (so the case will be smaller).

I know what I'm asking for is really specific but anyone know of something like this before I pull the trigger on the Tekton set?

Thanks

Think I would be inclined squeeze/mod a 8mm and 19mm deep into the gearwrench set as not keen on tekton sockets. is annoying they skipped a couple .
My truck tools are hand picked and put in plastic barn style tool box with tote tray, do like blow moulded sets but is awkward getting exactly as you want .

My old SK 1824 metric set really sounds a lot like what your asking about. Something I have had for almost 4 decades now.

7mm-19 shallow with no skips and 12pt deep 10mm-15mm plus 17mm. 19 mm. and those all have a shallow broach too.

Though these days you would probably want to have both 16 and 18mm deep too

Nice set though with heavy duty steel storage case.

May be something out there still!

Snap on makes a standalone plastic case which solves your problem--of the case-- and so for <$20, you can combine SO case w/ either the existing hf tools (+missing) and/or the GW setup (+19mm deep).

Go HF then go on eBay and pick up the missing sockets in whatever brand you find. Or go to a local pawn shop that carries tools. Most of them have little bins of sockets to pick onesey-twosey from.

Tool discounter has a deal on gearwrench sets. Buy the 3/8 set and get the 1/4 set free. $103 for both I believe.

I think the Tekton set most closely meets what you asked for. The SAE makes the case slightly thicker, but the footprint is about the same as the Gearwrench. I was going to recommend a Williams set, but the case is the flexible plastic, and it's more expensive.

I have the 84 piece Tekton 1/2" drive set I keep in my pick up. The case is very good as are the sockets. I also have an Autozone 3/8" set I keep in the truck. No complaints with either.

I have never seen that set before, but it is pretty sweet That would go great in any vehicle.

I ended up getting the Tekton set & couldn't be happier for the price. Weird thing is the ratchet was bone dry, didn't even have oil in it. Not sure if it was supposed to be that way but I put some Super Lube in it & it feels much smoother now.

Case size with the standard sockets is a lot smaller than I thought otbwould be. They designed it to be compact pretty well & it doesn't feel cheap.
