Looking for 3 door wall mount control panel

I just installed a Chaimberlain opener on my new third bay and would like to get one wall mounted controller to handle all 3 doors. My other two openers are older Stanley openers that just have the small single button mounted on the wall. Seems like everything I have found states it needs to be compatible with one thing or another. Guess I was thinking by hard wiring, I would avoid the incompatibility issues. Any thoughts? Would like something better looking than 3 separate switches that don't match.

Quick answer... how geeky are ya?

Some Stanley's will work with liftmaster wall stations (of which the 3 button version is the same). at least for basic funcionality (can't add light or lock fumctionality obviously).

But if your as little electronically inclined, one can cut traces and solder a pair of wires to the actual switch from the screw terminals, you'll have to pull out the meter and find which pair of pins work (its a dpdt - so 2 separate switches in one package). I've done it a few times, its easy, all through hole soldering... makes for a clean install.

You can’t do with three different pairs of wires going to three different push buttons?

AndyL, I'm not quite that geeky :). Would prefer to just buy something ready to go for this one. You said the Lifmaster control is compatible with some Stanley openers, any want to tell which ones? I didn't see anything on the website, will do some more searching.

KBS2244, that was my initial thought, but when I read the details on these controllers they state must be compatible with various wireless security blahblahblah. Was thinking I could just hard wire it and be done. Maybe you can and I'm just over reading it.

Mush07071, never thought about fire house supply store, will see what I can find.

Thanks for the responses guys.

I've never bothered to sort out the specific models... Every once in a while I get someone asking for a new station, and I test on temporary wiring, if it works, great - install it permanent like, if not come back next day with a hacked unit... They still run basic functions on a typical switch principle, it's the light/lock that's a little more complex...

Hack is real simple like...

Take an exacto/utility knife/dremel/whatever - cut along reds, just score the traces so they're not connected to the rest of the circuit... Take some small guage wire, solder wires to top/bottom connections to the switch, then wrap other end around screws, connect as usual...

The 3 button version is almost identical, uses 3 of these circuit boards in one plastic housing... But there are variations that exist, but similar principles apply... its a 4 connection switch, 2 basic switch 'halves' - you need one pair, connect to screw terminals...

I have a 3 button wireless remote mounted on the wall ( with a small square of Velcro ) instead of a wired opener control. Eliminated all those wires and works great for opening and closing the doors.

Might need to check if the Stanley can "learn" from an LM remote or vs vs . If so, you are good to go.

Subscribed to see what you come up with. I too have separate opener buttons and would like something more 'all in one'

I just installed three doors in my new garage. My garage door installer had to special order a three door wall unit from the manufacturer. The cost was equal to two - two door units. The product exits. You just need to hunt it down.
