Looking for a 10k lbs 2 post hoist

I'm a high school shop teacher, we received a grant for our auto shop class. I am looking to add a host as we don't have one. I am wondering if the agrotk 10k host is any good. I ask because 2 new host are coming up on auction and I might be able to get two for what a name brand host cost. Please advise

Talk to the district’s insurance company. They will probably require that the lift be certified and installed by a licensed and certified contractor.

Probably not. ALI is expensive. And that brand looks like they sell cheap junk. Spelling and grammar errors, generic descriptions, actively talking about how cheap stuff is.

I teach auto, and all I have seen at VT CTE is Rotary. There is no way I'd have anything even remotely cheap or off brand.

Buck is correct. In the event of an accident, you and the district need products with the reputation and resources, both legal and technical, to stand by you.

Amongst other things, it has a list of all current ALI-certified lifts.

Just my humble opinion...I agree with what the others have said, this is not something to trifle with. You need to make sure all bases are covered, right down to the installation, which means no cutting corners.

I have a BendPak 10K lb 2 post clear floor lift I use at home and have zero complaints. I bought it directly from BendPak and had a certified installer deliver and install it.
