Can anybody tell me who manufactures a 13/32 square (4 point) socket? I have a very specific application that I encounter regularly, and a socket would save a good deal of grief.

Would a 7/16” eight point socket be too sloppy?

No luck on Harry J. Epstein's which pretty well rules out SK and Wright. Maybe search Proto.

Didn't even occur to me that it could be metric, as it's a pipe plug. Yes, I think the 10mm would work.

I doubt it's 13/32. I have a vintage set and 7, 9, 11 are the 32nd sizes

Except for the 1/8" pipe plug, which is 9/32" square, the common sizes have common square heads. A 1/4" plug has a 3/8" square head.

My guess is that the plugs you are encountering were sourced from offshore, and the manufacturer put a 10MM square head on them.

Unless they are BSP (British Standard Pipe) plugs!

Any other sources? Carlyle seems to be a dead end in Canada. Facom is apparently impossible. I haven't asked the Snap-on dealer, partly because I haven't seen him yet.

Can anybody give me the Carlyle part number? I may be able to source it from the across the border.
