Sweet. I had been eyeballing that item since it went up. I don't have cash or I would have snagged it. Let us know how it works once you are up and running with it.

I didn't run a bead with it, but it powered up and the feed assembly definitely works. Looks like its a winner.

Where are you at skelton?

I'm about an hour North of Bay City. My plan is to buy a new Miller 211 and pick up a used stick welder for heavy stuff.

if the power cord has four wires in it you can use a drier plug - they sell them at Lowes. If it is only three wire you can still use a drier plug as long as you connect to the two live pins and leave the "L" shaped neutral disconnected

What gives? Was this thing a lemon or what? Do tell.

Not a lemon, just thought i would try and make a buck. Had a few offers around $1200, but i was not going to sell it for anything less than $1500.

If i could get $1500 for it I figured i would go get a lincoln 180, bottle, regulator, etc...then hunt for a plasma cutter with the left over cash. Just trying to maximize every dollar :)

Technically its still for sale, for $1500...but i dont think anyone here would be willing to do that knowing what i paid.
