I would like to find some better air hose for air tool use.
By better I mean flexible, light and durable. All my air tool hoses are Goodyear.
They hold up well but I would like to see if I can find something lighter and more flexible.
Looking around the net the brands Avery and Cleaveland comes up.
Any recommendations?

Thanks

I too use the (3/8") Goodyear hose. Get it at HF, and haven't had any

reason to complain about it. Like anything else, if you use it long

enough it will be the cause for some complaint. At that point, I

either repair the cut/break/delamination or chuck it for a fresh length.

We have flezillas in our shop and they do flex good the engine guys like them but the guys who are grinding or do transmissions or other big jobs dont like them because they get holes from dropping little stuff on them and what they are made of even little sparks will melt through them.

To the OP: are you talking about the black, red, or orange Goodyear hose?

The rubber hose is very durable, but the Pliovic is just what you're looking for. It is lighter, and more flexible. It also has a shinier surface that picks up less dirt. This is the orange stuff. Check it out.
