Looking for a bolt-on sink tailpiece flange

Hi All,

I have an 80ish year old aluminum sink in my cellar. I need to replace a rotted tail piece which is held in with a 2-bolt flange, like an exhaust manifold. In the process of removing the tail piece the flange broke as well. Is this something I can find a replacement for? If so, would it be a plumbing shop part or should I try my luck at Lowes?

I doubt you will find that at a big box store. A plumbing supply would be your best bet I'd think or just order it online.

Heck you could probably fab something up out of a piece of aluminum or plastic too.

A new sink is in the future. I just want to get the drain buttoned up for the short-term.

probably a fernco coupling on the stub would be your easiest /cheapest way out

The spuds that clamp to Stainless sinks should work just fine.
