I have had epoxy floors before but for my new garage Im looking for a simple sealer. Something that will only add to the shine of the concrete and make cleanup easier. I was lucky to get a great concrete guy and it is very nice as is. I saw a product by jomax called "concrete wet look seal" anyone heard of it?

Check out Rustoleums clear for the garage. Its a clear gloss epoxy that resists staining. I found it at Lowes. I believe cost was about $100 to cover 300-500 sq ft. Most of the sealers I looked at didn't say anything about resisting grease & oil stains. The penetrating sealers were cheaper but hopefully the epoxy will work better for me.

There is a product called Seal-Krete Garage Floor Sealer which is availible at Home Depot. It can be used by itself which dries to a clear finish or mixed with a stain or paint. It is water based and goes down with a milky color which later dreis clear. I used it mixed with stain and was happy with the results. there is a thread about sealers some hwere in this Flooring section.

I used a sherwin william clear epoxy on my concrete floors. it does give it the wet look. but everytime you drop something it chips the clear. They say its rated for fork lifts. I dont believe it. I do not reccomend Sherwin William epoxy

I found a commercial concrete store in Phoenix that sells a high solids clear, the name was Cohills. They actually have it on their parking lot where trucks come in and out plus the Arizona sun is working it.

I applied this Saturday morning and was walking on it in hours. This morning, Monday, my new mill was delivered. The guys slid the mill several times, dropped steel lifting bars on it and not a scratch. It is sealed and very easy to dustmop.
