im in the market for a small, lightweight but tough impact gun. years ago when i bought my house i got into ryobi, i know they have a 1/2 impact which would be good because all my stuff is ryobi so i can use the same battery (18v)
i have the 1/4 ryobi impact and it just wont do some of the things i ask of it. so i need something stronger. that being said, im not limited to ryobi, i saw the snap on ct761 and it looks like its exaclty what im looking for but pricey. are there any other micro impacts that pack a punch? it needs to do underdash work as well as breaking lugs loose. thanks for the help guys.

A lot of guys will recommend Milwaukee Fuel 3/8". It's a small gun that packs a decent punch, but I wouldn't call it micro. Milwaukee has an M12 Fuel gun (1/4" and 3/8") which is quite small, I think you're asking too much if you need it to break loose lug nuts.

ya the 3/8 fuel is a contender. half the techs at work have the ct761 and it just about does everything. rated at 120 ftlbs the fuel is 100 i think which is mighty close.
