I have the one in the second pic. It's metal.

I had a co worker who had the exact same one as me. His had a Mac sticker on the box and cost hundreds, I bought Mine on ebay with no brand name stickers on it for 85.

Have a Stant brand from the late 70's. Have not used it many years. Too many cap changes over the years to constantly buy adapters. I have a air pressure regulator set up to pressurize the system from the overflow hose. Or adapt hoes to the surge tank wich are usually 3/8 or 1/2 inch. Have not found a vehicle that this will not work on.

good info thanks guys. I do want to own a full kit. I am one of those car guys who wants it all in their shop lol.

the metal one is like 9 adapters vs the other is like 17ish

this looks to be the most complete I have been able to find in aluminum

I have the Harbor Freight model and its been flawless so far. Even added some adapters from other kits to it. My only complaint was that a couple of the adapters are designed for the pressurized coolant recovery systems (Kia adapter in particular) and didn't have an insert so that it could be used with a regular system. I got around this by getting some specialty O-rings that fit down inside the filler neck on the radiator and block off the overflow with the cap installed.

Other than that, it works pretty well on Jeeps and Dodge pickups and my AMC Hornet.

Sometimes if you right click an image, you can find the location under properties..:rocker:

Thanks. And yes I am aware how to find where an image is hosted and how to find it's metadata. However, this is a forum and its pretty much standard practice to post a link to a particular item...... especially when asking for our opinions.
