Looking for a flagpole

Will I have any issues with the concrete curing at these temps? Its been above 40 during the day and will hit 59 today but at nights it will go into the 30s the next few nights. The concrete is hard after 20 hours although you can still dig your finger nail in some on top. I was hoping to drop the pole in later today. Will I be safe to do that?

I would wait another day. The flagpole isn't going to harm the concrete in any way, but if you have a strong wind the "pulling" could create a stress on the pour and cause your concrete to crack.

I eventually want to do a flag pole. I'm leaning towards a Telepole, too, maybe nautical with a yardarm.

Whatever you do, please use an Annin flag. USA made with domestic materials for 6 generations. I went to high school with the President of the company. They are great people.

I got my pole down 206 from you in Southampton at a place called Acme Lingo. Been there forever. I do believe they make the flags as well.

I see there are many recommendations. I bought a 20' from the Flag Pole Farm in ID. I wasn't happy with it and wanted the 25' model. They were great to negotiate, and took back the 20 footer in exchange for the 25', only charged the cost difference between the two different models. The price of the pole, includes two flags. ( At least it did when I bought )

In the spring and summer, they have a traveling salesman who sets up and some of the "home and garden" shows, and the big ( relatively ) Empire State ( NY ) Farm days. If you buy at a show, you save both the freight and the sales tax.
