Old joke, why do always have a black dog?, dirty, grimy oily hands from working on cars, black dog, do the math, waterproofs them also, just a joke from my days in Alaska where you work with what you've got.
Found this group and it fit's my mindset, too old for worrying about who's got the fastest whatever, just drive what you've got and be happy, I own a 1928 Ford AA 1 ton flatbed and a 1947 Ford Super Deluxe, both fully restored, live in the Pacific Northwest wher the sun comes out once or twice a year.
I collect old car parts and tools, old whatever.
