Polished aluminum. I suppose if I could afford to drop that big a dime, I could afford to have someone rub on it so I would not have to. "5 quarts of Valvoline and a 55 gallon drum of Mother's, please".

so they sell that same car package on their site for $69k and costco sells the "grage kit" for $89k... that means your paying $20k + higher sales tax for some racedeck and jack/stands/engine lift?

All that aside car looks beautiful

A very good question. In the south you would have to go with an air conditioned C6. It's just too damn hot 4 months out of the year, and too cold another 4.

If you think that Cobra is sweet, about a year ago Hot Rod magazine did a story on a polished COPPER bodied Cobra that was incredible! The stripes were anodized to a flat appearance. No price was stated, but it had to be way high!

I know a few on here have Cobra kit cars but Kirkham is the holy grail of kits if you can not get the real deal. To me seeing this in a Costco is very odd. I do not see your common costco patron looking to buy a Hobby car? Is it just me or was this a terrible marketing move.. I am in Utah as I type and about 30 min drive from their site. May hope over and see what is behind door number 1...I am sure this is being beat up over on the cobra forum.

I don't think this is made for the common costco patron. They also sell $1M diamond rings. They are probably not expecting to sell many, or any, but are just using it as a marketing tool.

Kirkham makes a great car. The guys that can afford them usually put killer motors in them too.

Not a kirkham...but here's my Factory Five.
Cool video I shot with my daughter's video editing skills
