This is the one that I ended up with after trying MANY. It's a Lisle Jeeper's Creepers. It rolls nice, has help up well for over a year of almost daily use at work, is relatively cheap and cleans up easily. I've had Snap On steel framed ones, wooden ones, cheaper plastic ones from HF, Blue Thunder and several others. I haven't tried the dog bone though which some seem to like. The trouble I have with them is they either run me or my shirt over, won't roll worth a **** or won't hold up to the use. This one has been the best one for me so far.

Lisle Jeepers Creeper. Had one for a couple years now. Excellent creeper. I weigh 265 and it has no problems rolling on uneven asphalt. I wasted a lot of money on cheap creepers over the years. It would have cheaper just to get this one first. And no matter what anyone says the Harbor Freight knock off is not even close in quality.

Dont bother with the harbor freight. Doesn't last at all. I have a snappy one, but the keepers creeper from lysle holds up good. My buddy has had the matco labeled version for years.

I've been through a bunch of creepers. One of the best I ever had was an ancient wooden one with metal casters that I got decades ago. Got the HF one for $20. It was OK, but I'm 180 lb and it sags and drags in the center. I've had several creepers with metal frames and padded boards. They all ****. Invariably your shirt or jacket hangs down between the board and the frame and gets caught in the wheels.

I finally bought a Bone creeper last year. Definitely a solid creeper with large wheels that roll easily. That's the problem - it rolls TOO easily. Try pushing on a breaker bar while lying on this creeper and you go flying off to the side.

The lift is looking better all the time.

If you can find and old Craftsman WOODEN creeper that some one has NOT run over, they are very good !

I still wind up using cardboard most of the time.

This looks like a pretty nice one. http://www.whitesidemfg.com/nwproducts/mtlvmonadj.html

The larger 4" diameter rubber wheels look like they would roll over expansion joints in the floor easier, and be more durable as well. Anyone use this creeper?

I also like this one, because I can see myself using it as a mechanics seat as much as a creeper.

This one has a 450 lb capacity, but how durable are these Z folding creepers? Is the folding capability just something else to go wrong?

I recently picked up a Mac Tool branded Lisle "jeepers creeper" for home use after using the Matco branded one regularly at work. I highly considered "the bone" and the xl version but the Lisle one seems to fit me good and its reasonably priced. The lighter, smaller version of the bone is too short for me. I am tall, 6'5" and getting fatter as I age... Most generic creepers are too short for us tall guys!

I would say they are pretty durable. I have another brand and I primarily use it as a seat... Most, but not all seem to sit up slightly higher (folded flat) than a dedicated creeper from my limited experience with them which can be an issue. A friend of mine has the one you posted and really likes it.

I've only ever had one creeper but it has suited me well. I especially like the tilting / adjustable headrest. It is a super convenient option to have sometimes.
