Anyone have any recomendations for a good retractable power cord, or one with a shop light on it?

I see a bunch for sale, but want one that will last.

I prefer something higher than a 10A rating and at least 30ft.

Thanks!

I use the HF ones, they are 12 AWG, about 40 ft. Sometimes don't retract as well as I'd like (cord gets jammed) but play with it (pull out a few feet and retry) and it works. I have two of them, which allows power to all cars in the parking bays.

I have had several, the sub 50 dollar units fail within one year for me, I don't have a specific brand recommendation but if you look the sub 50 all have the same design, I would look one grade above that.

Have one Reelcraft and got a great deal on a Gleason, both are well over $100, later is a $500 reel that I got for under half price. Best deals I found are from the industry surplus sellers on ebay. A lot of times they have new overstock items or for even better deals they have new slightly damaged items. Search for "Cord Reel" in the Business and Industrial section and look for seller that have Best offer options, many times they will accept half or close to half of their asking price.

Try Grainger's or McMaster Carr
They are both on the web
They are comercial and industrial supply houses. They are the big boys.
You get a discount if you own a business.
Good ones are not cheap but well worth the price.
Try Craigs list, Green sheet and E bay for good used ones.
I have Craftsman over my work benchand it has worked well for 20 years. I have comercial ones to move around the shop.
