I currently have a basic universal puller kit and a few 3/4 jar pullers and would like to update some of my gear with a additional set.

Some of the different ones I see coming up and could use your help picking a nice set. (this is for hobby use) thank you

How often do you need one? Auto parts stores have them as loaners. The last time I rented one, it was pretty much the second one. Worked fine.

It depends on what you're working on. Some balancers no longer have holes for puller bolts. They require a puller with legs to pull the balancer from behind.

Unless you're working a small fleet of different brands/types of vehicles, I'd refer to service information to see what's recommended for your project.

I don’t have a kit, but I have a good selection of pullers. Seems like everything requires its own style of puller these days. Had to buy one a couple years ago for a dodge Neon, needed a long one. Just buy or rent what you need.
