1/4 or 3/8, doesn’t matter. I just want something that is compact and has rpm/torque that is similar to the non-fuel Milwaukee 1/4.

I heard SP Air used to partner with MAC for some of their pneumatic tools. SP Air’s newest “HD” ratchet caught my attention:

Does anyone have experience with this brand or unit?

Holy…

Just purchased, thank you.

That is an insane deal. SPAir makes excellent air tools and their impacting ratchets are beyond great. EVERYBODY SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS INCREDIBLE DEAL. I just did.
Agreed. For that price, there is no reason to look at anything else.

New user posts a link to an unknown site with a too good to be true price? What could go wrong?

It was a good, legitimate find. I have purchased from that site before. That particular model, at least the old version, has been discontinued - so maybe their distributor was offering a ridiculous price for the old model?

That site is completely legit and I've bought things from them before without issue. Don't know how they got this deal and I don't care if the Mafia hijacked a truck. If it's the authentic SPAir tool for what amounts to tip money I'm in. Just got the order confirmation in my inbox.

I have both an old Snap-on FAR25A that I like for its speed and compactness, however, my favorite and "go-to" 1/4" drive pneumatic ratchet is my MAC AR249. I really like the MAC AR249 because the fwd/rev. switch is back farther from the anvil and less likely to get bumped and switched during use. I think both have newer versions of these air ratchets but those are the two I have and use.

Dang, shipping is more than the tool. Still a bargain.

"New user" has been here since 2019, just not a prolific poster. I'm counting on Paypal covering if its fraudulent. 🤣

For what it's worth I have this air ratchet by Facom rebranded as Mac. The anvil is interchangeable between 1/4" and 3/8". It's a little loud but the size is right for many applications.

How did you get to the paypal checkout? It's giving me an error:

"This transaction cannot be processed. The amount to be charged is zero."

It doesn't seem to be picking up the shipping cost.
I think they are all gone. Vopy and paste the part number in to to yhe search bar and it will come up with nothing.

Did you also buy all the toilet paper back during COVID haha? Just kidding. But strange you ordered 3 and didn't let other members purchase one before they sold out. Maybe you needed 3?

Apparently I got my order in on time too as I've received a shipping confirmation. Just another example of "YOU SNOOZ YOU LOSE."

My order placed at 9:23 AM MST was canceled. I'm rather disappointed. I had been in the market for a tool like this for a while and was really excited to try it out.

I was 1135 PST. Guess I should not have focused on the day job so much. Don't know if Callum or I can make it to Texas to intercept the delivery.

I also found a SP Air Low Profile Hex Driver when I ordered the mini-ratchet. Stupid cheap for $7.93. I really didn't think I would get either tool, but here they are. The hex bit driver uses standard 1/4" bits. Never seen one before, but it will come in handy on the trike.
