Looking for a Napa Ratchet part number

I used to have a Napa 3/8 drive ratchet I loved. Late 1980s Early 1990s? I sold it (and many tools) when I had to reduce weight for an overseas move. I'd like to have one again. Does any one know the model number so I can look for it on e-Bay and other used tool sites?

It had one of those Moore Drop Forging round head dual pawl with quick release mechanisms you saw on I think all Easco ratchets, some Napa, some Craftsman, and if I remember right some KD. But the handle had a full polish, not knurled, the newer vintage Napa style.
If I remember right, the head had a teardrop shape but was not technically a teardrop as the reversing mechanism was in the round head.

It looked a lot like a Snap-On FN 100 (Or F749 to put it in the right era) if the Snap-On had that "Easco style" ratchet mechanism.

Does anyone here know this ratchet or the model number?

This is my first post here, so I am allowed to post pictures.

Can't help you with NAPA numbers.
I have two kinds of EASCO ratchets - knurled and full polish. The knurled has the round head fine tooth (RHFT) gear, the other is a single pawl I believe. Don't know if I've seen the full polish with RHFT gear. Though you might like it - it's a smooth, comfortable design.

If interested I can get you the tool numbers for those if you want to search ebay.

I don't know what your ratchet might be, but go to Ebay and look for "NAPA ratchet" and look at model numbers once you find one like you remember. FYI they used the same model number for different styles of ratchets, so its not that easy to find a single type based on a model number.

Also remember that the RHFT mechanism could be swapped for one with quick release very easily.

FYI NAPA ratchet numbers (pre-Carlyle) appear to start with the codes NM for 1/4, NB for 3/8, NS for 1/2 and NH for 3/4. Codes make no sense to me, but they did to somebody at one time.

Best of luck on your search and let us know how it works out.

I know what you're looking for but not the part number.
It's the round head fine tooth like Bonneyman's Easco, only with full polished handle.

Thesilverone has one in the middle of his photo here, alrhough it may be a 1/2".

That's it! In a 1/2 version. Sounds like a model number may not help with NAPA, I may have to check eBay once a week or so. I'm guessing there's a good shot, handyman working on their own cars were most of who bought Napa, so there's got to be one in someone's dad's old tool box that will end up on eBay.

Thanks!!! I was worried it was too rare to find again.

Back then for 1/2 I used a super long handle Easco, or this clunky fat Pittsburgh Forge with about 35 teeth with 22 degree arc that was impossible to break, even with a 2' pipe on the end. Harbor Freight was mail order only back then.
