My current compressor is a Coleman powermate premium, oil less, 11 gallon, 1.5 hp, 6cfm at 40 psi, 4 cfm at 90 psi. For the most part it does the job needed, however it's louder than our 80 gallon Quincy at work. I've looked at Quincys but i have a hard time spending 650 dollars for a little 20 gallon. Do you guys have any other suggestions? I'd rather not go smaller, and I want to buy new.

Makita and California Air Tools are some if the quietest on the market. Look for deck all ratings and pick the lowest.

Oiless compressors can be crazy loud. If the compressor is giving you enough air, you could find a similar sized one that is oil lubricated and it should be quieter. Most compressors that size turn pretty fast, which definitely contributes to the noise.
