I'm looking for a new work light. I want something thats cordless/rechargable and has a top hook, and also a magnetic base. I don't care if its LED or flourescent but it will be getting abused so I need something that will have replacable bulbs. Any suggestions?

While this one doesn't have a magnet base, I've used it for a year in a shop & hasn't missed a beat. Including dropping it onto cement like a dozen times. I think the light weight of it has something to do w/ it, its reliable, trust me I've had alot of other types & they begin to have trouble in 8-9 months. By the time they hit their 1st birthday their dead. This one is a bayco. Includes a car charger.

Snap-on has a Blue-Point branded cordless that has this translucent white lens. I drooled over how well it pushes light around, but I saw it after I dropped over a $130 on a EZ-Red that I don't like... Grumble...

Might consider HEAD light (goes on your head) very very useful, look up other threads on this.

I have had numerous lights, including an older Snap-on which turned out to be a POS. I have always had good luck with Streamlight brand lights and purchased the Streamlight "Knucklehead", rechargeable. This light has been reviewed on other posts with very positive results. I must say this is the nicest work light I have used. This has a rubber protected magnet, and a hook. Now my corded lights just collect dust..

Kunucklehead puts all the others to shame.
One tough SOB for rough shop environment.

Buy it, you won't be disappointed...
