Looking for a pressure washer

Looking for a pressure washer for light home duty. Initial wash of whatever latest junk car I towed home, cleaning the drive way of junk, cleaning large ladders and step stools of whatever gunk is on them, etc. Aiming for something made in the USA or Europe, and as much of that as possible (limit on the 'assembled' part), and would prefer electric.
This one has peaked my interest:

Never head of Mi-T-M, though. Any users here? And I see mixed COO on it; Zoro says China, other sites say America.
Also looked at Stihl's offerings, but I don't think they offer something in the range of what I'm looking for.
Any other brands to check out?

I like my Ryobi electric for light duty stuff. About $100 at Home Depot.

Day 1 - cut off the POS, Made in China GFI plug and put a regular plug on it. Mine lasted two days. I was ready to take it back for refund when I figured out the plug was the problem.

I use it on a charter boat weekly for a year and a half now.

Do you have a Costco nearby? I bought one there and the pump split 5 years later they took it back and I got a new one. Can’t beat their return policy. The 2nd one I got from them is a Subaru 3100psi with electric start for $299. I’ve had it 2-3 years and it works great.

AR Annovi Reverberi AR630 Available in a hot water capable version, about $600-700

Here is the Amazon listing (but please, buy from someone else)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007UUZGHK/?tag=atomicindus08-20

This is an excellent machine. Have sold them into some high use situations and they hold up well.

As to Mi T M, sold the brand for years, there high end stuff for pro use. Those can't be beat. As to the model you mentioned, meh, ok nothing special.

I have a Greenworks GPW1803. It's a little 110 volt unit that does a fine job cleaning bbq grill, the deck after pet accidents, and the house.

It was under $100 at Lowes. Sadly, it's a Chinese import.

As always, thanks for the help fellas!
I'll look into Karcher and AR offerings, with the latter seeming very appealing.
By the way, doing a search, I hear these things can potentially clean oil stains out of a concrete driveway? Is this true? What kind of pressure and other set up would I need for that?

The Karcher is fine for your purposes. The pricier ones are for daily users.

My old roommate uses a bleach water solution on his concrete driveway to remove the stains. I have not tried it, but it works for him without a bunch of pressure washing.

VOLUME (GPM, gallons per minute) is what gets the work done. Anything less than about 3 GPM is a joke.

My rule on this kind of thing, item new to me and not sure how or how much I will use it, is to buy a cheap one and see how it works out. Another option is to rent or borrow one once you have some work for it lined up, and learn if you like it that way.

Previous owners parked a car with an oil leak in the same spot for decades, NOTHING I've tried long term did anything to it, and the concrete actually started getting etched away.

Something compact and easy to store between uses like the Ryobi looks pretty good.

I use 2 pressure washers at home and both have their different uses. My 10 year old Greenworks POS electric pressure washer is still kicking and that's what i use for hot water pressure washing like dirty engines, vehicles in the winter, or anything that cant handle high pressure. I had a Homelite 2700 psi pressure washer for 5 years before i gave it to my dad and got a Simpson 3400 psi washer last year. Surprisingly the Homelite never had an issue except for the unloader sticking and i used it a lot. I have yet to put the Simpson through its paces as of yet since i havent pressure washed my house or deck yet this year.

Oil stains are a tough clean, or at least they can be. Pressure has nothing to do with getting the oil stain out, its all about the chemical.

Basic degreaser will lighten it up and may take it out if its not too old or dark.

Hot water helps immensely.

A restoration acid will often do it but you may end up with clean spots.

Never tried bleach, it may work on some stains.

I am watching my Home Depots weekly now waiting on the 798$ and 998$ Honda powered BE pump pressure washers to do their annual blowout at 500$. Then with a 45 gallon drum in the garage I am set to do Chinook spray downs during the winter. Hell if I could move the bronco then I could spray in the garage.

s.

Someone resurrected an old thread, but I’ll jump in on the oil stain removal.

Once you get rid of the surface buildup, and have bare concrete, dribble some Dawn dish soap on it, rub it around to cover the stain, then cover with cornmeal. After some waiting period, like 3 hours , scrub with a stiff brush. Sweep up cornmeal. Repeat as needed.

Many flavors of this on the Internet, but that version worked for me.

Greased Lightning, full strength. Not in direct sunlight (evaporates too fast). Rub it in with a broom. Wait over night. Hose off with a regular garden hose. Wait until thoroughly dry (12-24 hours), repeat if necessary.

Phillip sold/sells them. Wa_yyyyyyy more experience than any one home time type ever could. Better machine better results.
They sell industrial purple at the box stores, 5 gallons, used to have to get a barrel. Care and diluted for use with paint, for milder cleaning use pressure wash soap.

^^^ That's what I have, though not that model. Mine looks a lot beefier. Kranzle or an industrial AR Blue with the triplex pump design are the only options IMO.
