Looking for a quality pneumatic Reciprocating Saw

Hello all, I would like to buy a Reciprocating Saw. I love my MAC pneumatic tools that I already own, but their saw seems very pricy compared to most.

Blue point also, is it really worth the extra 100 bucks compared to HF? Both are made in china.

I see so many cheap ones, are they any good?

the at192a holds up real well and you can get a variety of blades in different lengths.
only one I had to send in for repair had sat in a bucket of water for a couple of weeks and it had rusted inside and out.....

I have an IR #429 saw that has been working flawlessly. They're pretty good quality and reasonably priced. Northern has 'em for $100

One tip, you can cut standard hack saw bladed to make replacement blades for it. I buy lennox hacksaw blades and make 3-4 blades for it. They can be cut with an abrasive cut off wheel.

Thanks for the info on pneumatic reciprocatings saws. I have wanted one for a loooong time. I will give the IR 429 a try.

The chain vise for it that I saw in the link makes it even cooler.

Yep and at a pretty penny too, about $1,800, but I want on so bad. I don't even think our compressor has the balls to run it but I want one.
