At that price, I would look at US Jack.

I bought a couple of sets of their three ton jack stands and I like them better than anything else I have ever seen. I believe that US Jack's primary business is supporting government and military customers. It is also worth noting that they rate their stand by the individual stand while most others rate them as a set.

You have to give them a call on the phone to get a price or place an order. I found this well worth the effort.

A big hardware store near me sells US jack products. They look to be well made. I have a pair of 6 ton Lincoln stands myself but I don't know if they make them in a 12 ton rating.

OP do you want me to see what they use on the MRAPs? Those guys can break darn near anything. So if it works for them it must be good.

These US Jack garage stands are a really great product. The 10 ton ones just don't hit my price point. However, thanks for letting me know about this great company!

I am looking for a set of large jack stands in the $100 to $150 range. So far these are looking pretty good:

Anybody had any experience with these or Omega products?

Any other brands that you recommend?

They look pretty sturdy to me. I own a pair of Omega 7 ton forklift stands and they are definitely well made. Once I get my car rested on them, I'm totally confident to go under the car.

The only thing I have to say is the saddle on the stands in your link look kind of deep. Depending on how you will place your vehicle on the stand, will that saddle work for you? The US Jack ones I see in the other post look like a flatter saddle, so maybe you can use it for more applications.

i've got that exact set and have used them to support my trailer (~13K lb).

they are REALLY big though (the minimum height is pretty tall) so make sure they are what you need.

I have a set of 12 ton OTC stingers, bought them more for the height then the tonnage. This is just me, jack stands are pretty basic and I would think it would be a huge liability if they could not support what they are are advertise. By no means do I want to be the guy to find out a 12 ton hf could only hold 2. I have seen some old import stands I would not put a hot wheels on, but I havn't seen anything newer that looked scary.
