Hello,
I'm looking for an epoxy product to put on a new 30x40' concrete slab. Do any of you have experience with an epoxy that cures less glossy, more satin or matte finish? The garage is a workshop with fifteen 4' led tube lights, and I'm concerned that a high gloss floor will make the workspace feel like a giant reflective tanning bed...

Any thoughts, experiences, suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

Based on my recent application the more friction additive you add the less glossy your floor will be.

You might want to look at Rust Bullet. It is a semi-gloss metallic gray color. It's not quite a satin finish, but the standard color with no clear coat is not as glossy as traditional commercial epoxy. Do a search here on the GJ and you will see many examples. You can also read about it here. http://allgaragefloors.com/long-lasting-floor-paint/

We have an industrial epoxy that is popular for that application. More often than not though the best way to to it is to use a good 100% solids epoxy, degloss before your top coat and apply a top coat with the sheen you want. Happy to help if you need it
