Looking for a set like this?

I am looking for a set like this with out buying them all each and making my own set. Also I would like to find a better brand in impact for strengh like snap on or proto, with out paying 200 for it, any ideas or is performance tool the best I am going to get for 17$? I am willing to pay around 50-75, but not really any more... Thanks for the advice.

Also not really using them for impact, just want to impact in case I need them for now and then, but know they will take the abuse, if needed.

you're asking a lot to get anything good for that price. Best bet would be to buy a craftsman set, probably. Check out Sunex or grey pneumatic, also.

I would not depend on those for professional use. I have a similar set that I use all the time. They worked quite well until I used one adapter with a long breaker bar and literally twisted the adapter due to the torque. It didn't shatter, which is good. I still use it, but would question the long term quality.

IIRC, they still have a lifetime warranty from Auto Zone, so it should not be a no brainer to get a replacement piece under warranty.

I do have a performance tool set not impact and I have a few duralast... I do have a snap on (non-impact)1/2 to 3/8 but stamped on it, is not guaranteed, so that is worth less than the other which all have a lifetime warranty... So can anyone post a good link for some, and also what would the cost be for a set that I could use everyday? I think I also have an HF set and impact swivel swet. Just want a good set for a good or fair price, but not over priced... I guess as I have been picking up more ratchets on ebay I probably have enough 1/2, 3/8 and 1/4 to use to do anything I need, but just wanted a nice set as I have some ratchets I really love and prefer to use I guess we all have a favorite ratchet and would like to use that all the time if we could and mine is a snap on F747A with hard grip, like the older screwdrivers.

here are a few ideas on your theme. If you're using these for impact use, you only need the ball type swivels. I think you could build your own set cheaper from sears or ebay though. I'm not real impressed with performance or duralast tools. Shop around, you can do better.

Thanks Fedwrench seeing how you are in phx, is there in place in the valley that you would recommend? I was thinking of stanley? Just an idea, like maybe granger or something.... I would like proto, but some of that stuff gets really expensive...

I'm confused here. Several people, me included have given you brands to look for. Is there any reason you can't google them or check for them on ebay yourself and buy them

For stubby wobble sockets, I have the Craftsman impacts, as well as non impact Craftsman flexibles. For deep sockets, I ebayed, some Snap~on pin lock wobble sockets, that I use with impact sockets (much cheaper then a set of deep wobbles for as little as I use them).

If you have impact sockets already, consider looking for just two locking wobbles.

You're getting into some muddy waters when you start combining universals with adapters; that's definitely something I'd want to buy one at a time. Right now I have my adapters as adapters and my universals as universals; life seems simpler that way.

Your best best for the money is Craftsman. They warranty adapters and universals. They don't sell an impact 1/4 swivel joint but, you can get that elsewhere. I don't know of a decent tool store in Phoenix and with sales tax at least 8.5%, I shop on;ine.

As usual you have confused me. I thought he was lookig for a set of impact swivels, regular universal joints, and adapters like 1/2 female to 3/8 male or vice versa. Craftsman doesn't make a reducing swivel. He would have to see a tool truck for that.
