Looking for a specialized 1/4 bit adapter

OK...

You know those bit adapter sockets that snap to a 1/4" drive ratchet, and have the little spring clip retainer inside the other end to hold 1/4" screwdriver insert bits?

I want the same thing, but with a magnet instead of the PITA spring clip.

Manufacturer? Source? Amazon.com availability?

Eager for any feedback on this one.

Looks nice. Apparently the Snap On TMBS8 is discontinued.

I've only seen them in 3/8" drive, but that's all I've looked for.

The SK one on Amazon is like $12, USA, and uses a magnet. 1/4 uses a clip/spring thing.

Nope not discontinued just updated part number. TMBS8A chrome magnetic 1/4 bit driver socket.

As Devoncoolman stated it is TMBS8A. I just received another one last week. Williams has them as well but I really like the Snap-on version. The SO one is also available in industrial black - GTMBS8A.

I like that! I also have two SO's and one blue point. I keep one inside each ratcheting screwdiver and one in the box for my ratcheting T-handle.
