Not long ago I purchased a set of OTC XZN/triple square sockets after seeing them here on the forums. They are advertised as "super-short" and have hex bolsters so they can be used with a wrench to obtain additional clearance over a ratchet.

I do quite a bit of work on German cars and could really use a set of torx sockets like this. I just ran into an issue trying to remove a fan assembly from an Audi where one of the torx bolts securing it was directly in front of an AC hard line with only an inch or so of clearance. Could've saved me a lot of time and frustration.

So has anyone seen a similar torx set? OTC doesn't list one, and I couldn't find anything doing a general search.

Maybe VIM tools, I got a stubby screwdriver socket set from them (20mm in length, or about 35mm on a drive).

If you want low profile bits (not sockets) look at snap on lo-profile

PB swiss 110degree stubby torx keys

might be even better for some applications, YMMV

I purchased / used this set for several years and would recommend.
Made in USA as well.
Purchased my set from MSC way back when.(20+ years)
Unfortunately it appears MSC does not sell this set with the torx drivers.

Looking online the company in the link below does sell the set with torx drivers and their price is lower than others.
Never ordered from them however.

Another option that eliminates the thickness of the ratchet is using Chapman Bits. These work real well in tight places:

DieselSaves,

I don't see the EZ-Red set on this current quarter NAPA RealDeals flyer?

What page is it on in the flyer? I might have missed seeing it.

Thanks,

Dave

Sorry about that. It's in a Techs Edge flyer my Indy tool guy gave me. I had them sitting together on the bench at the shop.
