I need to find a T-1 Torx either driver or L key that has a long machined shaft. Not a long shaft, but a long star portion. Any help would be appreciated.

T1? You'll need a microscope to see that! The smallest I've used is T3 and that was on the electronics of an RC Helo.

What are you working on?

My boss told me it was a torx. These are used to hold on joystick buttons. My Bosses Dad the big boss told me that yes they are spline. Apparently half way through the production run of units they decided to change from a spline set screw to an allen set screw. I had to use a magnifying glass to just see the splines buggers are small!

Thanks

I need a E00....or something about that size probably, for the little star nut on my glasses. They come loose all the time and needlenose **** on them. An E2 is gargantuan compared, probably double the diameter....

Find a nut with a common drive fitting and replace it.

In theory this would work, but now I'd have to find a driver AND a nut. :bounce:

seriously if the star had flats they would be just under 3/32" across.
