I think it's called a rafter tool, or wrench. It is made of plastic and has a right-angle fork on one end to twist a rafter for nailing and is also the exact length to use as a spacer between rafters. I have seen them in use but can't find one. Anybody seen these?

Thats a pretty cool tool! I never knew those existed. Kinda looks like a Pickle-Fork you use for tie rod ends.

I just bought one of these:

http://www.stanleytools.com/default...me™+Fubar™+Functional+Utility+Bar

Did I need it? HELL NO! But it looked evil, so I bought it anyway. The serrated jaws are designed to tweak wood into place, or to rip out studs depending on the job. It goes for about $39 at Lowes.

Yeah, I know, it's Stanley. Jim will have a cow if he sees this :)bounce: ). But at least it's amde in Taiwan and not mainland China. And did I mention that it looks feakin' evil???!!!!!

FUBAR eh? I like that one. Too bad when I was asking around at Lowes the other night the guy had no idea they had these.
